The Education Unit of the CMS is located in Rauma and Turku
The Education Unit offers university-level continuing education in the maritime field and other related fields. The education is mainly aimed at people already in working life. The clientele of our continuing education and conference services includes private persons, logistics and maritime companies as well as public authorities.
Continuing education gives the possibility to update and develop one's professional skills and learn new skills needed in working in the maritime, port and logistics industries.
The education services the CMS offers are continuing education courses and programmes and open university courses.
You can find information on our upcoming events in our Education Calendar, which is published twice a year. Most of the events are held in Finnish.
Custom-tailored education
Continuing education courses and different personnel training programmes can also be tailored to suit the particular needs of a client. We also arrange seminars and conferences to order. In addition to education services, we offer expert help in arranging different types of meetings.
Other
Presentation material of the maritime sector in Finnish and in Swedish has been produced within the project promoting the image and student recruitment in the maritime sector, funded by the Finnish National Board of Education and the European Union Social Fund.
